One Million Small Things
One Million Small Things is a website produced by our Social Action Grant recipient, Mad Like Me.
Mad Like Me is a podcast series made by Jamie Wise and Charlie Scott. Their second season, Mad Like Me: One Small Thing, will see Jamie and Charlie on the road, recording each episode in front of a live audience across Aotearoa.
As a Social Action Grant recipient, they are starting One Million Small Things. This is a social movement and website where people can share small acts of kindness that have made an impact. Its goal is to reach One Million Small Things.
The project aims to dispel myths of mental distress by sharing stories of everyday mental health experiences. It also aims to remove barriers that enable support, and end discrimination towards those who experience mental distress.
